The short version
Mandala Maker has no accounts, no ads, no tracking and no analytics. Your mandalas are made in your browser. We only receive something when you choose to send it: a waitlist signup, feedback, or a request for emoji ideas.
Kept on your device only
Your palette, saved palettes, card text and layout choices, backgrounds, custom emoji, and any drawing are stored in your browser (local storage or session storage). They never leave your device unless you save or share an image yourself. Clearing your browser data removes them.
Photos you choose for a background or a palette are read in your browser and are not uploaded.
What you can choose to send
Card waitlist
The email address and options you enter are stored by our host, Netlify (Netlify Forms), and used only to write to you about cards from the studio. Every email will say how to stop. To be removed, reply to any email from us or write to aditiohri@proton.me.
Feedback
The message you write, any screenshot you attach, and basic details about your browser are sent to our server and filed in a private issue tracker (GitHub) so we can fix problems. A screenshot is kept in Netlify storage. Please do not include names or private details.
Suggest more
When you press "Suggest more", the description you typed, your current emoji picks and the occasion are sent to our server and on to an AI service (Groq) that returns emoji ideas. Do not put names or private details in the description. We do not store descriptions, and our server logs only the kind of error, never your words. The AI provider may keep requests briefly for abuse and reliability checks under its own policy. Results may be cached for a day without your IP address.
Hosting
The site is hosted by Netlify, which keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for security and operations. We do not add any third-party scripts, cookies or trackers of our own.
Questions or removal
Write to aditiohri@proton.me and we will delete anything you sent us.
